After looking through the FW 12 womens shows from Paris fashion week, Maison Martin Margiela is definitely one of my favourite collections of this season. The silhouettes are oversized and laid-back, but still very structured and sharp. The collection contains a lot of beautiful deconstructed garments, such as jackets with high peaked shoulders stretching three inches above normal shoulder height and turtlenecks reaching the nose and ears of the models. I think it’s a really elegant and interesting collection that is very true to Margiela’s aesthetics.
